Bruce Lee was born on November 27, 1940 in San Francisco, California. He was a child actor in Hong Kong who later moved to the U.S. Went back and taught martial arts. He starred in the TV series The Green Hornet (1966-67) and drew at the main box office fee in Chinese Connection and Feast of Fury. He died on July 20, 1973, at the age of 32, shortly before the release of his film Enter the Dragon.

Early life
Bruce Lee was born on November 27, 1940, at the last Chinese hospital in Chinatown, San Francisco. Lee and his parents returned to Hong Kong when they were three months old.
Lee's father Lee Hoi-Chuen was a famous Cantonese opera star. Because of this, Lee was introduced to films at a very young age and appeared in many films as a child.
Lee had her first role as a child, which was taken on stage in the film Golden Gate Girl. He appeared in 20 films until he was 18 years old.

After Lee became involved in many street fights, his parents decided that he needed to train in martial arts.
Lee was first introduced to martial arts by his father, from whom he learned the basics of wu-style tai chi chuan. After returning to Hong Kong from the US, Lee continued the train with Wong Shan Leung.
Lee entered the elementary school department of Catholic La Salle College at the age of 12, and in 1956, due to poor academic performance, he was transferred to St. Francis Xavier College. In 1958, Bruce won the Hong Kong Scholes Boxing Tournament.
In the spring of 1959, Lee got into another street fight, and the police were called.
Until her last teens, Lee's street fights became more frequent.
Eventually, Lena's father decided that his son should leave Hong Kong to live a safe and healthy life in the United States.
In April 1959, Lena's parents decided to send her to the United States to live with her older sister, Agnes Lee. Several months later, he moved to Seattle in 1959 to continue his high school education.
Lee also began teaching martial arts that year. Lee opened his first martial arts school in Seattle called the Lee Jun Fan Gung Fu Institute.
In March 1961, Lee entered the University of Washington and studied drama, philosophy, psychology, and many other subjects. Lee dropped out of college in early 1945 and moved to Auckland.
At Ed Parker's invitation, Lee appeared at the 1964 Long Beach International Karate Championships and repeated two-finger push-ups.
It was at the 1964 championships that Lee first met Taekwondo master Zoon Gu Rehire and taught Lee a sidekick.
In 1964, in Chinatown, Auckland, Lee had a controversial private match with Wong Jackman.
Hollywood
In 1996, Lee played a sidekick cut in a TV series titled Green Hornet, Lee quit his job and opened the Jun Fan Gung Fu Institute.
In 1971, he appeared in four episodes of the television series Longstreet, written by C. Silifant.
Lee played her first lead role in Bigg Boss (1971), which proved to be a huge success at the box office fees in Asia and brought her to stardom.
He soon followed up with First Fury Fury (1972), which broke the record set by Bigg Boss for office fees.
After ending his initial two-year contract, Lee negotiated a new deal with Golden Harvest. Lee later formed his own company, Concord Productions Inc., with Chow.
For his third film, Dragon of Dragons (1972), he was given full control of the film's production as a writer, director, star and choreographer of combat scenes.
From August to October 1972, Lee began work on his fourth Golden Harvest film, Game Death by Death. Production stopped in November 1972 when Warner Bros. offered Lee the role of Enter the Dragon, the first film to be co-produced by Concord, Golden Harvest, and Warner Bros.
The film began shooting in Hong Kong in January 1973. However, Lee died a few months after the completion of the Entre Dragon, and six days before its July 26, 1973 release.

Death
On May 10, 1973, Lee crashed during an automatic dialogue replacement session for Enter the Dragon at Hong Kong's Golden Harvest.
Suffering from seizures and headaches, he was rushed to a Baptist hospital in Hong Kong, where doctors diagnosed him with cerebral palsy.
On July 20, 1973, Lee went to Hong Kong for dinner with actor George Lazenby, with whom he intended to make a film. According to Lee's wife Linda, Lee met with producer Raymond Chow at 2 a.m. at home to discuss the making of Game of Thrones.
Later, Lee complained of a headache, and Ting gave him a painkiller equivalent, which contained both aspirin and the tranquillizer Maprob ama Mate.
Around seven-thirty, he fell asleep. When Lee didn't come for dinner, Chou came to the apartment, but he was unable to pick Lee up.
A doctor was called, and Lee spent ten minutes trying to get her alive before sending her to Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance. Lee was pronounced dead at the age of 32 upon arrival.
